Connection Point Church began in January 2023 when Pastor Jacoby Kindred stepped away from a long career in industry to follow God’s call to plant a life-giving church in the Forestdale community. Our heart is to be a place where people encounter Jesus, grow in authentic faith, and discover their purpose as they impact the (205) and beyond.
We believe the local church is God’s way of bringing hope and healing to people near and far from Him. At Connection Point, faith is real, relationships matter, and everyone has a place to belong. Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you’re still exploring what you believe, you’re welcome here. Church isn’t just something you attend—it’s a family you’re invited into. Through worship, prayer, hospitality, and thriving kids and youth environments, we help people build a faith that shapes everyday life.
We’re also deeply committed to our community. Our campus is being developed as a resource center to serve local families through outreach, care initiatives, and programs that meet real needs. We want to be a visible expression of God’s love—bringing help, hope, and transformation to our neighbors while pointing people to the lasting hope found in Jesus.
